7 ¼” s.e. blade with dropped point, engraved in simple foliate designs and inscribed 1821 one side and TIANNINA the other. Both sides with glossy gray finish. Hilt cast in two pieces and decorated overall in floral pique work. Red velvet covered scabbard with copper chape and throat mount, each with large high relief mounts of classical Greek subjects both sides. Classic example with good age patina from repeated handling and use.
