New Kingdom period. 3” length, cast bronze with thin tapered blade and spread tang for seating in a wood or bone handle. The edge showing evidence of working life sharpening. A small knife probably used for skinning and butchering small animals, preparing food etc. The thinness of the blade precludes heavy work like wood carving, but allows for its use as a weapon. Rare.
