Unusually small example of this iconic form, perhaps made for a youth. 6 ½” length. 3 ¾” blade decorated both sides including two ciphers (?) to the back. Horn grip with circle decoration and wire wrapped socket. Red Morocco leather scabbard tooled in geometric patterns. Shows age, probably 19th century. Excellent quality. Only example in this size we have seen.
