Stone p.418-9. Iron lock back crow bill blade, 7" length with slightly concave cutting edge and vicious false edged point. The back decorated with punch work panels. Both sides scalloped along the back. Iron shaft, the sides sheathed in circle and line decorated brass and forming a pocket for the blade when folded. Iron blade lock. Built up grip of pigmented bone, brass and black horn segments. Shows use, minor wear and good patina. The blade crisp for the period with a little black rusting to the concealed base of the blade.
