9th-11th century AD. Gilt bronze. Rare large size 10 1/2. Broad 3.6mm width band with rounded face. Surface is slightly textured overall from burial. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Professionally refurbished with the 24k gold overlay restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
