Edo period, 1603-1867. 83 5/8” length. Hard wood haft with iron butt mount. The fore end sheathed in metal (silver?) with copper ferule. Triangular point with narrow fuller to one face. The point is crisp with a mottled gray patina. Copper Mission Inn inventory tag attached below. Rarely encountered fully mounted and fine provenance.
