Edo period, before 1867, probably about 1800. 12 1/4" length with 2 3/4" triangular section point. The broadest face with a narrow fuller formerly with red lacquer fill. Flared base and upturned tip. The surface with light pitting speckles revealing the laminar folding pf the metal. Tapered tang with a single pinhole for securing peg.
