Edo Period, C.1750-1800. 38 1/8” length. Cane shaft with horn nock. Willow leaf, form point. Brown goose fletching tattered from heavy use, not decay. The fletch area encased in brown paper (some loss) with the samurai owner’s name inked. Early, well used example of a war arrow made to penetrate samurai armor.
