VERY RARE EASTERN FINNISH ARROWHEAD, 9th-11th CENTURY

See Arms and Armor of the Crusading Era,  Nicolle 172d. Forged to triangular section. Thick armor piercing point with the triple veins behind adding stability and forcing the weight toward the tip. Very well forged to an intricate well engineered form. The base with stepped tapered tang which feature distinguishes this and Nicolle 172d from all others of the type.
