Second half of the 19th century. 7 1/4" blade boldly incised with triple lines bordering the edge and triple line medial developing to a ridge. Large shaped wood grip with flared base and expanded pommel, decorated overall with hatched and basket weave motifs. Dark glossy patina over age encrustation. Blade with dark patina and surface texture.
