REVOLUTIONARY WAR SOLDIER’S FOLDING KNIFE

Large folding knife with hook form blade. One piece cow horn grip with engraved side panels and figural terminals. Inset scalloped iron blade lock to the back. See Swords and Blades of the American Revolution, Neumann, #39.K for a near identical example. Well used with mottled patina to the blade. The horn sound with checks and lamination as typical for the period. Great Colonial character.
