33" double edged broad blade with short fuller, flanked by Man in the Moon marks and with an X mark at the forte, each side. Tapered two hand hilt made without a guard and wrapped in narrow black leather strips (complete, with some wear). Globular iron pommel pierced for a wrist thong. Original leather covered wood scabbard tooled with a variety of patterns, both sides. Tip worn, otherwise excellent for the period. Complete with original shoulder strap.
