General form as popularized by the Green River factory in Greenfield, Massachusetts, but longer with 9 1/4" blade. Shorter clipped tip. Wood scale grips well-worn from use. Blade with evidence of sharpening and minor loss to the edge. Classic example of early American industrialism supplying the Post Civil War Western movement.
