Standard pattern with 34” broad fullered single edged blade, etched first half with foliage, proof and crowned GR cipher. Plated hilt with wire wrapped ray skin covered grip. Hilt retains most plated finish. The grip sound and complete with surface soil. Blade with smooth wear and a little oxidation intrusion to the forte. Artillery was particularly useful when fighting large numbers of infantry and cavalry as encountered in colonial battles, particularly India.
