Right tasset plate from a cuirassier’s armor, probably English. 1/2” length. The top with remnants of securing leather and rivets, middle and each side. The inside edge with residue trapped by the overlap before it became detached. Ex: John Woodman Higgins Armor Museum, Worcester Mass.
