Probably Victorian. Well forged iron completely hammer shaped and not welded, with visor ventilated both sides. Matching buff and rolled edge neck plate. Correct form pivots. Good mottled patina. Many 16th century close helmets were modified for use in the 17th century by removal of the front elements when the attack changed from arms length, to gun fire. This appears to be the elements used to restore one to original, in the 19th century
