The Herodian Period. Identified as Loeschcke type 1A. Depressed concentric line well with scalloped terminal radial motif. Probably a stylized flower bud invoking the Rota Fortuna (Wheel of Fortine). Rounded spout supported by volutes. The bottom with India inked archaeological notes. Buff terra cotta with uniform surface wear from burial. Together with a Roman green glass shard of the same period.
