LARGE CRUSADER’S CROSS, 900-1200 AD

Silvered bronze, over 2 ¼” (2.27”) height with nubbed terminal flared beams. Marked with circle and dot motif both sides. Crosses of this type were worn by pilgrims to the Holy Land, and later, crusaders.  Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored. Mounted with an 18” sterling silver neck chain for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
