The original garment pin was patented two millennia later as the "safety pin". Bow fibula, bronze, just under 3” (2.95”) length, of high faceted arch form and faceted pin seat with hatched cubical terminals. Decorative back nub. Cross pin lacking. Surface lightly encrusted from burial.  Probably for a man's garment.
