6 7/8” X 4 14” lithograph of Astley-Cooper, pioneer British Surgeon who famously performed  the operation of tying the abdominal aorta for aneurysm; and in 1820 he removed an infected sebaceous cyst from the head of George IV. Finely engraved by Robinson and professionally matted to 9” x 12” for an off the shelf frame from Michael’s, Walmart etc. Genuine early 19th century original.
