VIKING WARRIOR’S WEDDING RING, 800-1050 AD, SIZE 10 ½

Gilt bronze, made by the lost wax casting method. Low rounded face. 4.3mm width, size 10 1/2. Cast with a central core to distribute the metal and heat. The core then laboriously removed by hand, with remnants of the core remaining. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
