RENAISSANCE EUROPEAN RING, 16TH-17TH CENTURY AD, SIZE 8 ¼

Gilt bronze, size 8 ¼ with low rounded face band, 2.6mm at the bottom and broadly flaring to the shoulders. The raised oval bezel cut with a floral splay of curves and dots. See Ancient Rings, T N Pollio, p.126 for a near-identical example. Surface textured from burial. Professionally conserved with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
