RARE MEDIEVAL EUROPEAN CROSS 9TH-11TH CENTURY AD

Bronze, probably originally gilt, over 1 7/8” (1.93”) height. The beams slightly flared with bun form terminals. The cross beam above center. The front with original bone inlay. As found condition with fine glossy green patina and light surface adhesion from burial. On an 18” modern polished leather neck cord with sterling silver mounts. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
