Gilt bronze, over 1 ¼” (1.29”) including the suspension loop. Broad beams, the cross beam above center. Incised stick figure to the front. The back plain. Made by the open face mold technique. Probably provincial with perfunctory representation. Great Dark Ages character. Professionally refurbished with 24karat gold overlay restored on an 18" gilt silver neck chain for modern wear.
