9th-10 century AD. Line bordered low raised square bezel with concentric circle decoration, four surrounding one in regular arrangement of unknown spiritual significance. See Pollio, p.42. 4.0mm rounded face band flared to the shoulder. Surface textured from burial. Superior example, probably for a clan leader. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
