MEDIEVAL ANGLO-SAXON (ENGLISH) RING, SIZE 10

9th-10th century AD. Rounded bezel with stipple border and incised circle decoration, four in regular arrangement of unknown spiritual significance. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p.42. Broad 4.1mm rounded face band flared to the shoulders. Good example, probably for a clan leader.  Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
