FINE LARGE EASTERN EUROPEAN CHRISTIAN CROSS, 17TH-18TH CENTURY

17th-18th century, Russia/Ukraine. Gilt bronze, well over 2 1/8” (2.20”) in height. Elegant form with a raised cross-centered and Cyrillic ciphers at the beam terminals. Reverse with raised edges and Cyrillic text infill. Excellent crisp preservation. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored and on an 18” gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear.
