The High Gothic Period. Gilt bronze, just over 1 ¼” (1.28”) total height. The cross beam slightly above center. Beam terminals as elegant trefoils evoking the Jerusalem cross of the Crusades. Five circle and dot motifs representing the five wounds of Christ. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored, on an 18” gilt silver neck chain for contemporary wear.
