Knights of Columbus, C.1905-30. Silvered bronze hilt with society logo display to the guard and full relief eagle pommel. Plain ebony grip. 28” straight double edged blade, decorated with foliage, Maltese cross and Knights of Columbus. The ricasso marked T C GLEASON & CO The House of Quality CHICAGO. Plated scabbard with fine silvered mounts. Hilt shows a little wear from handling as expected. Blade with soft gray patina. Good quality and pattern identified as predating the Columbus head examples.
