James Warner 1857 patent five shot .30 cal rim fire revolver. Quite crisp throughout with the blue faded to a mottled patina. Mechanically excellent. Grips a little worn. The Warner, was made in both percussion and rim fire. Colt sued claiming both to infringe on its patent stopping production of both. Stated by Flayderman to be produced "late 1860s" it is widely accepted that they served through the Civil War.
