The original, probably 17th century, captured at the Fort of Shan Hai Kuan during the Boxer Rebellion, about 1901. 8” length. Wood carriage with detailed fittings 4 7/8” tapered brass barrel with profuse Chinese inscription to the top. Narrow composition wheels made to ride on the stone floor of the castle. Shows genuine aging and patina.
