Viking bronze ring from a small group purchased in Ireland and reputed to have been found there. Size 10 ½ 6.9mm width. Low rounded face. As found condition with fine patina. Cleaned and sealed with a clearcoat for modern wear. Viking raiders menaced Ireland, taking slaves and treasure for two centuries until they were defeated in 1014 at the Battle of Clontarf.
