9th-11th century AD. Large example, over 5 1/4" length of leaf form. A flesh cutting arrow was used on civilian raids which were conducted regularly along with coastal towns on the Mediterranean. The point with a low medial ridge on one side and flat the other as typical, on flared foot. Tapered tang. Excellent excavated condition.
