The classic throat slashing knife carried by every Viking male. 6 3/8" total length. Wedge section blade of characteristic clipped point profile, and the thinnest we have encountered. Thinness translated into maneuverability and better cutting efficiency for the slashing attack. Strictly a weapon, nonfunctional as a work knife. Forged out "whittle tang" made for use without a guard. Excellent condition with some original surface showing. Scattered oxidation intrusion and surface growth. No significant loss.
