Forged iron just under 3" length. Elaborately detailed. Tapered striking bar with crip chiseled medial line on both sides. Curved terminal forming the finger stall and ending with a small relief monster head. The top with a swivel loop for suspension from the belt. The curvilinear form is suggestive of the prow of the Viking longship. Exceptional preservation with considerable original surface remaining.
