Silvered bronze, c form just over 2 ¾” inside dimension, large for these. The terminals flared and inscribed to three, probably representing duck’s feet and indicating that this was worn by a sorceress.  A burial at Viden, Denmark contained the body of a woman of wealth and status buried with henbane seeds, which have hallucinogenic properties, and a wand as well as other objects. From these, it was concluded that she was a seeress or sorceress. The grave contained a necklace hung with three duck feet pendants very similar to this. Professionally refurbished with the pure silver overlay restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
