Late 19th-early 20th century. 2 7/8” folded. The sides of natural antler scales with three brass pin fasteners. The nail groove blade as well as the back spring both of antler as well! Excellent for the period and functional. This and its companion, following, are the only folding knives with antler or bone blades that we have been able to find. Possibly used as fruit knives or simply folk art.
