Late Imperial Period, C.1890-1917. Bronze, size 10 of traditional form but executed in western European style, rather than silver niello. 3.2mm band flared to the shoulders which are engraved in the large leaf succulent foliage found on traditional Cossack rings. Rectangular bezel with incised borders and a central red “stone” with engraved radial surround. Excellent with remnants of original plating.
