17 3/8" tapered blade decorated in semicircular dot and cross punches with fine tool finish. Rectangular brass guard with buckle terminals (?). The scabbard throat with a matching larger buckle. Large octagonal wood grip with laminated white metal ends and inset white metal piques. Brass scabbard of the type found on the robe daggers (taleks) but far superior quality with raided copper panels and secondary sheath for an accessory knife (absent). The scabbard front well engraved in abstract motifs. Unique in our experience.
