2 1/2” s.e. blade chiseled with addorsed crescents. The base with lined bronze plates as on the flyssa. Two-piece scale grips of hard leather (?) secured copper rivets. Leather scabbard with transverse bands finely worked in the best Tuareg. Tradition. Expected aging with darkening to the decoration and light gray patina to the blade. Made for formal dress in traditional costume, but completely functional.
