Probably necromantic. Copper body with vajra end mount, red cord wrapped shaft and a copper dragon with vajra head dress (slightly bent) holding the iron blade in its mouth. The head itself about identical to the so called flaying knives (Gru gug) which are reputed to be used to chop the brains of the deceased. As with nearly all things Tibetan, very little is known of these instruments.
