19th century. 3 3/4" blade with narrow central fuller to the right side. Typical provincial forged quality with tool finish and wear from use. Hilt with bone and black wood scales secured with rivets. Laminated pommel of bone, white metal, and horn. Pierced brass segments flanking leather medial to the scabbard face. Condition characteristic of early Tibetan weapons with some wear, but complete and good patina.
