17th-18th century. 3 3/4" blade with narrow central fuller to the right side. Typical provincial forged quality with tool finish. Hilt with bone and horn scales secured with copper rivets. Laminated pommel of copper, white metal and horn. Pierced white metal and brass segments flanking leather medial to the scabbard face. Reverse of copper plate. Condition characteristic of early Tibetan weapons with some wear, but complete and good patina.
