6 1/4" Wavy blade of thick diamond section shows smooth dark patina. Black horn grip with three inset copper piques each side and brass ferrules. Conical brass button. Broad brass cross guard of shallow S form. Hilt with untouched old dark patina. Two checks and small blemishes to the grip. Dating to the period of turmoil starting with the Revolutions of 1848 which followed the Carlist War and continues on as sporadic rebellions.
