Made in Albacete. 8 ¼” thick medially ridged elongated leaf shaped blade. Thick iron cross guard of elongated diamond shape. Bone grip with ringed conical brass ends and decorated brass band inlays. Highly regarded and used throughout Spain, these are particularly associated with Basque Resistance during Spain's alliance with Napoleon, 1803-08.
