19th century. 21” overall sheathed. The hilt and scabbard covered in silvered brass deeply embossed in foliage panels with transverse divider bars. A couple small dents. Single suspension ring. 11 7/8” single edged blade of thick wedge section, beautifully decorated in silver with seated courtiers, scrolling foliage and Burmese script. Very impressive.
