So-called Albertina pattern. Brass hilt with large oval ring for the two forefingers. Rounded boat form guard and silvered simulated wire wrapped grip. Fine 33 1/4" straight d.e. blade with beveled edges and pronounced medial ridge each side. Both sides decorated more than half length with foliage and military trophies. A couple of minor edge nicks and small black oxidation spots, still excellent for the period and one of the best designed swords of the century. Really well thought out and a very lethal handful!
