Top (arm opening) with forward holed edge characteristic of Gothic armor. The bottom with a short similar roll. Four rivet holes for attachment as these backplates comprised a central plate and separately attached side plates of which this is one. Patched and surface pitted. Back with Higgins inventory number. A significant element of Gothic armor in excellent preservation with superb provenance!
