It is well documented that women fought alongside men and women’s burials containing swords, other weapons, and armor are documented. This bracelet is a woman warriors bracelet corresponding in material and motifs with the male version, but smaller and narrower. It is gilt bronze, C form, under ¼” width (0.21”) tapering slightly from the center and of the thick section typical for warrior’s rings. It is decorated in very high relief with five panels of diamonds flanked by transverse bands. The segments between are three longitudinal bands. There are a few small blemishes from burial or perhaps use, even combat. Otherwise, it is in exceptional preservation with the 24karat gold surface restored for modern wear. It is a jewelry gift boxed with certification of authenticity.
