Four pieces comprising three "needles" each about 9 3/4" long with a carved mythological dragon head from which projects an iron needle. Each needle wrapped in fluffy cotton (?) cord to hold the ink which ran down to the needle point Matching hardwood tapper. The cord on one needle raveled otherwise excellent with fine evidence of use. The needle is held in one hand tracing the pattern while it is tapped rapidly and uniformly with the tapper, setting a single ink dot with each tap. Tattoos are universally popular in Southeast Asia and the process well known, however, we have not seen another such set on the market. Fascinating display. Four piece set.
